Quiet wooded communities with stunning views yet close to relevant attractions
 
Park Meadows is one of the gems here in Park City. This neighborhood is mostly level, but has some rolling hills and is surrounded by mountains. A well known peak is “PC Hill” which you can see from many places in Park City. Park Meadows is centrally located and is easy to get to any shopping or activity in Park City. A few desirable neighborhoods in Park Meadows are Sandstone Cove, Eagle Point, Holiday Ranchettes. The neighborhoods of SandStone Cove and Eagle Point are perched on hillsides and offer incredible views. Holiday Ranchettes is a unique neighborhood, offering larger than normal lots. Most homes will be sitting on multiple acre lots and some are horse properties.
 
Thaynes Canyon is more secluded, located west of Park City proper, but not so far as to make a quick shopping trip inconvenient. There are residences near the flats and the higher you go in Thaynes Canyon, the more wooded your surroundings become; some of the most desired luxury estates are in Iron Canyon, with views of the iconic ski slopes and the Uinta Mountains. Some of the newer developments to the area are; Aspen Springs, which has some lots focused on equestrian use and Silver Star, which offers ski-in-ski-out access, Silver Star has an open plaza with a few shops and the Silver Star cafe, which has one of the best views in town. Don’t miss the mine tour located opposite the Cafe, you will get a real feeling for the conditions the miners worked in

Park Meadows and Thaynes Canyon are quiet neighborhoods that have a good mix of full time residents and second home owners. The Park Meadows Country Club is one the social centers of Park Meadows, whereas the Park City Municipal Golf Course runs throughThaynes Canyon. Both communities, however, are mere minutes from the ski resorts, which are great for beginners to black diamond skiers.

Whether you reside in Park Meadows or Thaynes Canyon, you are a short drive(even bike-able) from an array of dining options. Enjoy picturesque views as you indulge at the Silver Star Cafe. The outdoor patio overlooks the Park City Municipal Golf Course and views of Park Meadows or you can enjoy a seat inside and listen to live music while you have your meal. 
 
Grub Steak is a favored eatery in the area. This long-standing restaurant has a wide range of menu items, including a Gulf shrimp platter, crispy Idaho potato skins, calamari, steak, prime rib, elk sirloin, and more. Book a reservation to ensure you get a seat, or head to Grub Steak’s main competitor, Ruth’s Chris Steak House located at the clubhouse of the Park City Golf Course in Hotel Park City.
 
The French, country-style setting of Windy Ridge Cafe is also well-loved. There is also an in-house bakery to get delicious baked goods when you’re craving a sweet treat. When you need your morning coffee, visit Ritual Chocolat in the Iron Horse District serving Tea, chocolate drinks, espresso, and locally crafted chocolates are also offered here.
 
Several established eateries can be found near Thaynes Canyon. The Snowed Inn Sleigh Co. Restaurant is a top attraction in the winter. To get to the restaurant, guests take a horse drawn sleigh up the ski hill to the Inn for a delightful dinner. The Hotel Park City has a cozy eatery inside called the Bandannas Bar & Grill. It offers views of the golf course and mountains.
 
The Snow Creek Shopping Center is where you’ll find grocery items, boutique shops, the main state owned liquor store and additional restaurants. It’s a popular spot, surrounded by gorgeous views of the area. Make your way to Main Street, and you’ll find even more unique shops to try, including clothing stores, gift shops, and more.
If you need to find the perfect ski equipment for your next excursion, Ski Valet Park City is a popular choice. They even offer delivery services, so you don’t have to get everything home on your own. Many looking for outdoor gear go to Jans or Cole Sport both located at the corner of Deer Valley Drive and Park Avenue for more upscale shopping. Several designer stores on Main Street provide options for updating your wardrobe. 

Things to Do

 
Park City Municipal Golf Course is a major draw of the area. This scenic, 18-hole course offers a variety of challenges, from uphill tee shots to nearby waterways. You can receive lessons from a professional or join a league if interested. The Park Meadows Country Club is also close, where members only can only utilize the club. Which includes the gorgeous course, pool and fitness rooms, skiing, and the on-site restaurant. 
 
When you want to hike, make your way to the Round Valley Way Trailhead. It’s an ideal hiking area that’s also utilized for mountain biking, walking, cross-country skiing, and more.
 
The Park City Ice Arena is also nearby, providing you with an indoor opportunity for ice skating. This city owned facility offers sports programs so you can play or watch or get lessons for anyone who wants to improve their skating skills. 
 
Many patrons of the area also spend time at the Park City Municipal Athletic & Recreation Center, also known as PCMARC. The facility has a climbing wall, tennis courts, a pickleball court, a sauna, and more. To participate in an art program or class, or see some pieces on display, visit the Kimball Art Center. This gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday and has rotating exhibits.
 
Park City Mountain Enjoy snowboarding, skiing, and other winter sports activities here. You can take lessons, rent the right equipment, and shop and dine at the on-site restaurants and shops located at the base
